Pelvic health physiotherapy is an evidence based, multidisciplinary service that focuses on the overall health and physical function of the pelvic floor. The main functions of pelvic floor muscles are to support our organs (bladder, uterus, and intestines), control urination, control defecation, and to support healthy sexual functioning. Pelvic floor dysfunction is not just a physical condition, but can also pact our emotional, social and mental health.
